  | | Boscombe Boscombe is often considered to be part of Bournemouth but is worthy to be considered a town in its own right. Situated only approximately 2 miles from Bournemouth, Boscombe offers many facilities to compliment those on offer elsewhere. Boscombe High Street plays host to a very well represented market on Thursday's and Saturday's throughout the year. You will also find a good selection of national and local retailers both on the High Street and in the undercover Sovereign Centre. On the seafront you will discover the quaint Boscombe Pier. Boscombe sea-front is currently going through some major works to give it not only a facelift but provide better facilities for visitors and locals. This work includes the creation of Europe's first artificial surf reef and a host of retail units. Boscombe Gardens is the place to find a Mini Golf course as well as a great water park for the little ones, there is also a good array of catering outlets and places to rest a while.
