The beautiful city of Canterbury lies on the Great Stour river in east Kent.
With it’s delightful cobbled lanes and streets, Canterbury is dominated by the imposing Norman Cathedral, but also boasts two castles and at least five museums.
Canterbury has an exceptional selection of shopping facilities ranging from quaint markets, small individual shops to large department stores .Combine all of that with a fabulous assortment of restaurants and bars and you will struggle to find anywhere more cosmopolitan.
Nearby Herne Bay is a traditional English seaside town, renowned for it’s safe clean beaches. Vibrantly coloured beach huts line the beachfront and in the summer its splendour is further improved by the lovingly tended flower gardens that edge the seafront.
Charming Whitstable has an unusual old fashioned appeal. Famous for its oysters and seafood, it is well worth a visit. You can enjoy a fascinating walk through the winding lanes and alleyways to the Harbour.  See video below of Canterbury Cathedral.
