Must sees in Exeter include the magnificent Gothic Exeter Cathedral and also the attractive riverside resort, known as the Quayside. This has a whole host of fascinating shops, cafes and pubs, and also the Quay House Visitor Centre. You could take a stroll around the historic ruins of Rougemont Castle, and the surrounding Rougemont Gardens.

As if all of this isn’t enough, Exeter also boasts over 700 shops, many of which are smaller individual shops that offer an outstanding shopping experience. There are also literally hundreds of eating places offering a variety of delicious fresh local food.
