Sheffield is the fourth largest industrial city in England but is also
one of the most verdant cities in England, with many woodlands, parks, canal walks, and dramatic countryside.

Sheffield offers a varied mix of galleries and museums which display everything from ancient treasures to very contemporary art.

Beautiful stately homes, such as Chatsworth and Hardwick Hall are well worth a visit.
There is plenty of choice for shoppers, with the Orchard Square courtyard, Castlegate Market, The Forum and the trendy Devonshire Quarter all in the city centre.

The Hope Valley is a large, wide valley running along the boundary between the moors and edges of the 'Dark Peak' and the dales of the 'White Peak.  It is best known as magnificent walking country, although it is also popular for biking, pony trekking, hang-gliding, rock climbing, and potholing.
