Stockport is a large, busy town approximately 6 miles south of Manchester, full of leafy parks and beauty spots, such as Bramall Hall and Park, Woodbank Park & Etherow Park.

You will find plenty to see in Stockport, like the striking Town Hall, the Viaduct, and the Art Gallery. You could visit the Victorian indoor market, a fascinating place for collectors, or the famous 'Trafford Centre' a 15 minute trip out of town, where you can shop ‘til you drop!

The Peak District is Britain's first national park, located right at the heart of England, and is visited by thousands of people from all over the world. Here you can find peace and quiet, and also adventure, whilst experiencing some of England’s best caving, climbing, paragliding, walking and cycling. After all that exercise, what could be nicer than spending a well deserved hour or so in a quaint village teashop with a fresh pot of tea and a delicious slice of Bakewell tart?
