Vizzit Taunton

Taunton is the county town of Somerset, set in the Vale of Taunton, midway between the Quantocks and the Blackdown Hills. It is a very traditional market town, with plenty of fine architectural buildings and a well organised Heritage Trail that  takes walkers through charming back streets, parks and gardens .

Taunton is  home to the Taunton County Cricket Ground where Somerset County Cricket Club play, and also holds a famous  annual Flower Show nearby, in the beautiful Vivary Park .You could visit Taunton Castle, which now  accommodates the Somerset County Museum displaying a fascinating  collection of toys and dolls.  You‘ll struggle to find anywhere as versatile and welcoming as Taunton - go on , give it a try!
